Mmmm.....I think it'll be something to address when I go shopping - an extender at least.
When I started I bought what I thought would be a comprehensive kit so that I would have all I needed (or thought I did), without too much idea of what to go for. My thinking - probably flawed - was that as I improve I can replace parts of the set-up with better quality/better suited (to me) stuff and not splash out on expensive unsuitable stuff in the beginning. You have to remember I didn't have AIUK then!

Whatever an archer 'thinks' is a better solution probably isn't.

Fair enough comment. I guess that as I'm not top level I'll take your word for it.
But I still stick to what I say, until proven wrong. ;)
